GitLab CI is designed for the Linux operating system.

GitLab CI officially supports (recent versions of) these Linux distributions:

  • Ubuntu Linux
  • Debian/GNU Linux

Additionally GitLab CI requires:

  • ruby 1.9.3+
  • MySQL or PostgreSQL
